Works great with the iPhone 5. Once you set it up all you need to do is go to your playlist in iTunes select the playlist then go back to A2DP and play your whole playlist. You can advance the playlist or go backwards. Im also able to play audiobooks in the same manner.
Recently I purchased the first-generation jawbone bluetooth thinking I would also be able to play music. When I found out I was unable to and downloaded this app I was really pleased that it worked as well as it does for three bucks. Good deal for my iPhone 5.
